Photovoltaics (PV) – energy from the sun
in the service of energy efficiency

Solar energy is one of the most promising renewable sources. Photovoltaics (PV) remain the fastest-growing technology in the renewable energy sector. Our solar farm projects use the latest high-efficiency panel technologies.

Competitive advantage of PV

  • the cost of energy production from photovoltaic cells is rapidly and systematically decreasing
  • thanks to technological progress and economies of scale,
modularity and scalability – installations can be implemented both as small-scale systems and as industrial farms,
  • long lifespan of installations,
  • possibility of integration with energy storage systems,

Additionally, we are developing innovative hydro-photovoltaic farm projects, combining the benefits of solar and water energy to increase energy efficiency and optimally utilize available resources. Greentop Energy Holding is developing photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of several hundred megawatts, located in the Lower Silesian, Silesian, Łódź, and West Pomeranian Voivodeships. Innovative hydro-photovoltaic projects play a special role – floating PV installations on water reservoirs that reduce water evaporation, increase panel efficiency through cooling, and allow the use of previously unused industrial reservoirs.

Wind energy – a stable source
for the energy system

Wind energy, especially in the onshore version, constitutes the second pillar of our strategy. thanks to the huge wind potential in Poland, particularly in the northern and central regions, building wind farms allows for a rapid increase in the share of renewables in the energy mix. contemporary wind turbines are highly technologically advanced structures, with efficiency reaching even 45–50%.

Our projects involve the use of turbines with a unit capacity of 4 to 7.2 MW, which enables

  • production of energy sufficient for thousands of households,
  • stable energy supply in variable weather conditions thanks to hybridization with energy storage,
  • full integration with the local grid infrastructure.

Wind turbines are an important part of our portfolio. thanks to advanced technologies and precise site selection, our wind farms are characterized by:

  • high energy efficiency
  • minimal environmental impact
  • the ability to integrate with other renewable energy sources

Biomethane – an opportunity to increase
the country’s energy security

Biomethane, obtained from renewable resources, is one of the cleanest gaseous fuels and an important step toward a low-emission economy. its production allows for the use of local agricultural and organic waste, reducing CO₂ emissions and supporting energy independence. thanks to its ability to be injected into the gas grid, biomethane can replace natural gas, increasing the security of energy supply.

Completed investments

Within the holding, between 2012 and 2025, we completed several renewable energy investments with a total capacity of 23.7 MW.
the investments are located in central Poland, in the municipalities of Błaszki, Zadzim, and Kłobuck. the investments include:

  • wind turbines at three locations (6 units) – 10.5 MW
  • photovoltaic farms at four locations – 13.2 MW
